Your PTA Trustees

A new board of trustees was voted in at the AGM  on 16th March. 

Dad of Maddy in Pelicans, and Rora aged 2. I'm a Senior Accountant at a local chartered accountants, and also on the board of governors for Swiss Gardens. Born and bred in Shoreham you can usually find me trying to find the best burger in Sussex or attempting gardening. I'm also quite partial to a pub quiz. Easy to spot, I'm the smallest giant in town. The PTA is a great way to meet other parents and to make Swiss Gardens a fantastic place to be.

Mum of 2 girls, Stevie in year 4 and Billie in year 2. I run my own video production agency full time and have been in the PTA for a while working alongside Melita, the current Chair. I’d like to stay on a little longer as the PTA is really needed in our school and it’s a fun way to be involved more in the school and the wider community. I love organising events (like Clubbing for Parents!) and have a knack for marketing, so am mainly helping in those areas. When I’m not working or doing PTA stuff I like to sing & do sport. I hope to bring organisational & marketing skills to the table as well as fun.

I'm Dawn, and my son is in Year 2. I work full time at an international educational consulting firm and have worked in the educational sector for many years and understand how important education is for all children. Like others, when I recently joined the PTA I was surprised at how underfunded we are in West Sussex and want to do my part to help raise funds to improve our school and our children's education. I also have a background in project management and like to take on big projects, so will be focusing on getting grant money for Swiss. In my spare time I'm a super foodie and love to travel!
